"Bone/Phoney/Smiley trio worked more like the Mickey/Donald/Goofy trio..."
Yes, but maybe more like Pogo, Albert, Churchy?
Not to get all theology nazi on your curmudgeonliness, but just in case nobody else mentioned it already, Deity knowledge of Crankshaft's innermost cesspools probably ought not be "omnipotence" but
I'm with the Flagstons. Fireworks, yeah. Crowds -- lost my taste for masses of humanity living in Chicago for 14 years. I'll sit over here, thanks.

Unwind a wire coat hanger and use the pigtail end as a corkscrew.
Comics -- why get inky fingers and kill trees to read shrinking, squinty, limited-selection b&w when I can read what I want, archived, color, magnified-to-my aging vision comics online?
Subjects: digital future, comics, comic strips, news, online commerce
I appreciate the job colorists face on b&w strips with unclosed areas. "Fill" tools just won't work.
