Occurs to me, just maybe, our representatives in government make budgetary processes needlessly difficult.

Also, I've noticed that when it rains, the sidewalk gets wet.

The elder dog kind of shriveled up and was soon gone. In retrospect, I think the elder dog was so used to being the queen of the castle, having a new dog come in may have broken her heart.

He's in no great discomfort but is definitely in the "find a place to die" mode.

After all those years nothing left but tears.
