Home home on the range. No herd of cattle bellyaching tonight. Really still & quiet.
Got home a little earlier than usual tonight, with nothing much to do but lounge about on AoS. & stuff.
Late to the dead thread's deadly dog talk, and I've mentioned this before, but here goes anyway.
Oh, yeah: Baby it's warm outside here in NE OK, too. 70° now, and days ahead in the 50s-60s, but cold nights return next week, sayeth the forecast.

Tonight, we pulled up to home. A full-ish moon in a clear sky sprinkled with brilliant stars. Quiet. No wind. Mild temperatures at last.
I just want to note for the record that, as far as I can tell, no looting or rioting took place in the vicinity of our farm last night.

With the cool weather, we have the windows open and the fans off. Nice and quiet.
By the dim light of... setting moon? incipient sun? I can see that yesterday's rains have become a moderate fog.
When we lived in Chicago, our life was so arranged that I didn't usually have to fight the masses, at the worst times anyway.

Sounds kind of nerve wracking.
Driving home, just beyond our driveway, Mrs sees someone walking, Westward, away from us. Near Midnight, country road, pedestrian, suggests domestic quarrel or alcohol.
