US Election 2012
For the last several months as I confidently predicted a Mitt Romney victory there were two people who consistently told me I was dead wrong, both are local business owners who deal with people every single day. Their daily interactions with people told them that the country was too far gone and Obama was going to win this election.
Speaking of crawling over shit, I suggest next election we don't spread all that broken glass around that we were so certain republicans were going to crawl through to get to the polls. Maybe replace it with boy scouts, helping walk them through freshly swept pavement? Just throwing that idea out there.
Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) is refusing to concede to Democrat Patrick Murphy, but that hasn’t kept Murphy from Washington. … After the results are officially certified Friday, West will have 10 days to contest the outcome of the race in court…. Michael McDonald, associate professor of government and politics at George Mason University, said that there might be grounds for a full recount because the total number of votes cast had shifted so much after the partial recount….
Reports that there is over-voting in St. Lucie county is speculative. The candidates and amendments took up two voter cards, so some voters just voted on one card and not the other, some voted on both and turned them in, which accounts for the fact that there were more voter cards turned in than actual registered voters. West’s campaign does believe that there could be at least 700 extra cards submitted, that could translate into 350 extra votes.
As Republicans try to explain their Election Day losses in terms of policy, tactics, and strategy, one factor is emerging as the essential difference between the Obama and Romney campaigns on November 6: the absolute failure of Romney’s get-out-the-vote effort, which underperformed even John McCain’s lackluster 2008 turnout. One culprit appears to be “Orca,” the Romney’s massive technology effort, which failed completely. A source within the Romney campaign agreed to share his reflections on Project Orca with Breitbart News… There was, in fact, massive suppression of the Republican vote--by the Romney campaign, through the diversion of nearly 40,000 volunteers to a failing computer program. There was no Plan B; there was only confusion, and silence.
Romney was more-than-convinced he’d win on Tuesday…. “There’s nothing worse than when you think you’re going to win, and you don’t,” another adviser said. “It was like a sucker punch.” CBS News also noted that Romney purportedly “hastily composed” notes for a concession speech, adding corroboration to his claims earlier in the day that he was prepared for a decisive victory.

Instead of using his high office to articulate a vision for our future, Obama used it as a vehicle for character assassination, replete with unrelenting and destructive distortion, derision, and division.
This nation has a critical mass of idiots. No matter how this election turns out, far too many people are voting for the America-hater and I want a divorce from them. They are death. No nation with a large percentage of such people (let alone a majority, G-d forbid) can survive in any reasonably free state. Either we jettison these idiots, split from them, or they will drag everyone down into their Third World worshipping shithole fantasy.

The man formerly known as “No Drama Obama” pulled out all the stops – and unleashed some tear drops — in Iowa tonight. We didn’t see them fall when our murdered diplomatic staff came home from Benghazi in coffins. We didn’t see them during Obama’s tour of areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy. And we didn’t see them over the last four years of dismal jobs report releases. But with his pride and the election hanging in the balance, the formerly diffident president has turned on the spigot.
It's almost impossible to lose an election when one of your sponsors owns the voting machines and your other sponsor owns the company that counts the "ballots" but there is no paper trail of the actual vote.
Add to that mix your propaganda department is made up of the main street media and the Hollywood studios and you have 47 million people who live off you for their existence.
Remember when Carter was a shoo in for a second term?
He was so well loved and such a great guy and really deserved to show us what he could do. Reagan was a baby-eating senile old fart who wanted nothing more than to put his boney old finger on the shiny red button of nuclear annihilation.
And then a funny thing happened on the way to the polls.
And while everybody bitched and moaned about Reagan, nobody ever really talked about how much the missed Carter - or really mentioned him at all.

Apparently, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz doesn't believe the rules apply to her. In Florida yesterday, the Congresswoman was asked to stop blocking traffic into a parking lot in front of a polling location. According to reports, this led to Wasserman-Schultz not only arguing with a police officer, but she abused her power by "making a phone call" to a higher authority to try and intimidate the officer into letting her break the rules.

The potential fraud would be focused on major, decisive cities that are believed to help keep states blue, and therefore earning them the electoral college’s votes. They're called “spigot cities.” … “It requires massive turnout– in large unopposed numbers in those urban centers for those states to remain in– in the blue column. What you have, unfortunately, is pervasive systemic voter fraud in many of those places. I've seen it with my own eyes.”
It appears this Jarrett creature is quite confident of a victory, and has every intention of making those who opposed her, and her boy, of paying dearly for their seeming crimes against them. … Strange that everything was “Ms. Jarrett wants this, and Ms. Jarrett is looking forward to that”. You hardly heard Obama’s name mentioned by her…. Why are they so confident about winning next week? We aren’t getting any numbers in the office that has any of us knowing Obama will win.

White House Insider: Not in my experience son. Not even close. I will say this though…Romney…the Romney campaign. They are about as clean as I’ve seen. And I ain’t sayin’ that just because…you know. It’s the truth. Which is a good thing in a way…but in another way…it worries me. Got an ulcer the size of my fist, swear to God…I’d feel better if they played a little more dirty on that end of things. Just for some peace of mind. It’s usually not the candidate who is the campaign crook. It’s…it’s the rest of us. We do the down n dirty, right? But Romney…he’s made it clear the campaign isn’t to go there.

To return to office a narcissistic amateur who seeks to ride this nation's economy and international esteem to oblivion, like Slim Pickens riding the nuclear bomb to its target at the end of the movie "Dr. Strangelove," would be disastrous. Candidate Obama said if he couldn't fix the economy in four years, his would be a one-term presidency. Mitt Romney is moral, capable and responsible man. Just this once, it's time to hold Barack Obama to his word. Maybe we can all do something about that, come Tuesday.
Weird Uncle Joe Biden showed up to campaign for Barack Obama in Florida today, and man, was he on top of his weird uncle game. … “And after it's all over, when your insurance rates go down, then you’ll vote for me in 2016.” … "As they say in my business," he told a rally, "I'm going to give you the whole load today." … Biden turned to the group of guys, then… asked one of them, “Are you Indian?” “American!” the man responded. … today in Florida… referencing the Cleveland Plain Dealer, he calls it "one of the major newspapers in this state."
Imagine that. A presidential candidate who gives millions of dollars a year to charity does a storm relief event in Ohio, and an MSNBC anchor is disgusted by it because the Red Cross would prefer people donating cash. … “I found that sort of fake, relief rally, whatever it is, to be pretty offensive, and also wrong-headed….” [Seriously.]
Per the massive voter fraud scenario, I think there will be violence - some half-hearted rioting - sponsored by the likes of the "New" Black Panthers, The Department of Justice, and other radical, left-wing militant groups - but I honestly think an Øbama win in November will plunge this country into something akin to a civil war. Mostly because the voter fraud aspect will be extremely difficult to hide, and those who won't countenance it are also those who are most able to participate in such an "insurrection" without having to be armed by the government. So, the course of our country will then be decided by not the electorate, but by the military. If the military is complicit, and turns the might of the country against those who would fight this tyranny, the constitutional conservative (or conservative constitutionalist, if you prefer) will become literally extinct, and the USA will become the new Greece. I hope for the sake of all around me; for the sake of my children and my grandchildren, that it does not come to this, but it is a fear that has nagged me every morning for the past year.

You don't say, 'You’ll get your chance.'" … just for the record, there is nothing in the Constitution barring one from saying “You’ll get your chance” to the President of the United States — no matter what his supporters on MSNBC say.

The most single telling moment of Tuesday's debate - and possibly of any of the debates - came early, when Obama attempted to interrupt Romney one time too many. The governor rebuked him, politely but firmly, and Obama simply turned and went back to his stool.
“President Obama, during the Democratic National Convention in 2008, you stated you wanted to keep Ak-47’s out of the hands of criminals,” said Nina Gonzalez, who was part of the audience of so-called undecided voters. “What has your administration done, or plan to do, to limit the availability of assault weapons?”
Nina Gonzalez is registered as a Democrat in Nassau County, N.Y., according to voter registration records.
Obama: "The way we're going to create jobs here is not just changing our tax code, but also to double our exports. And we are on pace to double our exports, one of the commitments I made when I was president. That's creating tens of thousands of jobs all across the country." [Anticipatory-past tense. Emphasis added.]

She didn’t, and the conversation careened toward a clash over whether the president had given the country a timely admission that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. … As to Ladka’s question about who turned down the Benghazi security requests and why, Obama reportedly told him that “releasing the individual names of anyone in the State Department would really put them at risk,” Ladka says.
