weather
Arctic blast got delayed a day.
55F now, going up to mid-70s. I like warmth.
Plunging to freezing tonight, cold then snow the rest of the week.
Highs in the upper sixties today. Seventies tomorrow. Freezing tomorrow night, then highs in the forties. Gonna try to soak up every bit of warmth I can these two days. Urf!
Polliwog the 'Ette> Get better MWW. Were you able to get rewarmed?
Thanks, Pol.

Get better MWW. Were you able to get rewarmed?
Been a little sick lately, slept a lot, feeling better today, until I went to help carry in some groceries.
Lucky y'all. My comments keep getting eaten. Greatly enjoying this storm, otherwise.
Ah, we're getting a good soaking, finally! Haven't seen this much precipitation in a long while.
Morning, Glories. Finally got some August storminess, in September. I blame Daylight Savings Time.
teej: Got 3+ inches of much needed rain last night.
Morning!
When I heard the earthly thunder this morning, I was hoping for a good soaking.
Morning, AltonJackson.
Hello. My dog wanted me to wake up and tell you that it's all right, you're safe inside, the thunder can't hurt you. Good boy.
AltonJackson: "I had to have the heat on for the commute."
Hurricanes wreck havoc with the normal order of posts. Chaos! Disorder! I'll be so glad when it's over.
Storms broke loudly at 5am. Got up to let in and dry off the cat who refused to come in last night. The dog demanded constant reassuring petting. So, going back to bed quickly became a non-option.
"...to ask whether, you know, they're all psychopaths."
Projection, how it works!
» I may need to turn the heater on. In Louisiana. In mid-May. -Mama AJ
*sigh* Go ahead, do it. Then I'll feel better.

Hello, Intellicast....
I meant....
Goodbye WUNDERGROUND.
AccuWeather, RIP. You were good in your day.
Hello, Intellicast. Thanks, whoever recommended it. Been needing a new source since Accu drank the Flavor-Ade.
"Sunday was the coldest March day here in KC since they started keeping records in the 1880's...."
If you don't like the weather in NC...
Just wait a minute.

Hey, now! ©! I said that about Oklahoma.
I mentioned our forecast back at #236. Rain, sleet, snoot, sheet, ice pellets, snow, wind, thunder... but no 'naders, so there's that.
I'd like to stay and play
But I've only come to say
I've got to go away
beeecause...
Foul weather anticipated for the beginning of March. White Euro Hetnorm Male TeaParty-caused global climate chaos! Totally unexpected.
>> bulk of this snow storm went south of us here in Chicago..
and North of us here in NE Okla. We didn't get much
12° now and ... falling for another hour here, the cell tells me.
Yay! LadyW just let ol' Spark in. All critters accounted for. All is well. Relatively. For the moment. Ya takes whatcha gets.
Temps dropping fast her in NE OK. Biting wind. One cat didn't come home tonight ('yet' he added, hopefully).
34 a little while ago. Heading for... 8 tonight. brr

I'm going to go crawl under the covers and come out when 60° returns... which is not in the ten-day forecast.

I've really been trying to come up with some way to use that, but I just haven't found the right hook to Anthropogenic Climate Chaos running hot & cold.
When I awoke, the moon on the crest of the new-fallen snow gave the luster of daylight to objects below. Now the sun is up, somewhere behind the clouds, and I can see fog rising over the pasture.
