An online encounter this weekend reminded me of the one and only time, many years ago, that I had a serious road rage encounter.

Observations from the road
#2 - We noted as we traveled that they just aren't making the old single-floor drive-up-to-your-room motels anymore. They're building hotels.
It wasn't really that the coffeemaker was complicated. It's that it had old coffee grounds in the filter and yesterday's coffee still in the pot and I was busy reading the blog.
What I miss most, being on the road, is my dog. Next-most, this time of day, miss my own coffee! (Staring at strange coffeemaker in a friend's kitchen.

The county is re-asphalting stretches of my 5-mile daily commute. It really is amazing, how swiftly the final top is applied. That's my travel area.
I never get to travel anywhere anymore. Guess I won't move on to the next post, just fade out with this one.

It's impossible to say when is best to visit beautiful Oklahoma, but it's probably best to avoid August. Unless you plan to visit some of our many lakes.
