"...when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend."
Since it's Palm Sunday...
Wandered off to read some articles Ben linked. I don't think I finished any of them.
"You haven't really read a book until you've read it at least twice."
(Down to that's as far in the post as I've read so far.)
Books I've managed to read through twice or more.
Subjects: communication, Moby Dick, reading, Spider-Man, Urantia
Thanks to the Book Thread folks for encouragement to start reading books again. Still re-learning, but enjoying it.
Still slowly plowing my way through M. Twain's autobiography, complete and authoritative edition, volume 1. I may not read much, or fast, but I sure enjoy it.

My learn-to-read-again therapy program is moving slowly, but successfully. Mark Twain's Autobio book 1, big fat study version that daughter gave me for Christmas has been helpful.

took me almost an hour to catch up to my own first comment of the day.

The link text from Ace's 2:30am post.
I misread the dentist message as well. Skip the 2nd sentence and see what I got:
Okay, I've finished reading the morning news headlines. What else is there?
Wait... it's dark already?
So many kinds of books!
