Stepping into the deep dog doo here... (Burt, some of us "overthinkers" need to think it through thoroughly.)
Just a thought... we use a spoon to dish out the cat food...

Top Ten Signs a Bear May Be Drunk
Oh, look, it's morning!
No pet thread? Well, guess I ought to feed the pets, then.
Didja ever notice that the difference between a pet and a poet is an o?
Over fifty comments and not one reference to, uh, two cats, two cups, or ... something. Okay, I can see why not.
I just trust that Maet is enjoying his staycation.
The secret to Maet's cat pic?
They're named Hillary, Lena, and Yoko.
(Their humans are cruel liberals.)
qdpsteve: mindful webworker: KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!
You're right. I wasn't thinking clearly. I wonder, if I'd popped it in the microwave for a few hours...?
Just popped in to share this...
Our time with pets is always too short.
Anna Puma's black medium-haired (apparently) cat reminds me of our little gal Faithful. Faithful was probably the littlest cat we've ever had. Roxy was small in size, but fat.
Seamus: ...This morning he is totally back to normal, jumping and playful as ever.
Hooray for happy endings! Scary story.
Pet thread! Woof! Woof!
(I see Seamus beat me to that, sorta)
Hi. Hope you all are having an evening. I brings three things.
-- Thing 1 --
It's almost the anniversary of the death of one of Joe Biden's ancestors.
Tilikum: Are you new here?
Ah, so something of Great Import was discussed and you won't let me in on it. Well... harrrumph!
Huh. I thought at first the thread would be about opossums or rescued animals. Then it started swirling.
I see someone has already mentioned squatty potty.
Even before viewing the video, I knew the easy answer - cat backpack video, cat stroller video, cat playground-home - of course you're a crazy cat lady!

Whew! I was afraid these were going to be those bicephalic mutants that nature sometimes produces. Much cuter.
Although, I'm not sure about the cat in the last picture...
Saddened to hear about the little kitten. It's strange, in a way, that with all there is in the world, a little kitty I only read about on a blog means so much, but that's how it is.
Alberta Oil Peon: ...No ticks here in Alberta, but the mosquitos are out...
So, are those the giant hawk-sized northern mosquitoes, infamous from Wisconsin to Alaska?
Dang. Just picked a tick off me, crawling toward my armpit. Felt one earlier tonight, crawling crothward up my leg. We have a "tick jar" where we drop them into a pool of alcohol.
If you'll excuse my linking to another site, when it comes to great critter pix, Claudia at IOTW Report is the only comparable collector of bluebird's artistic prowess.
Black kitty is apparently the Designated Annoyer this morning. Hard to type with her in my lap demanding petting.
Got home. Always nice to see all cats accounted for. Found a battery for the mouse. Can turn off the f#@(*# touchpad. So far so good. Now to fix a drink.
Bitter Clinger: ...From that time forward he was very pleased to see me at any time and would jump up on me and sleep in bed with me. He know who'd saved his bacon.
The felines I've known acting as parents are all female, the way farm cats can be, but I have had a male more-or-less adopt a stray kit who wandered in.
Wandered off to check my newsfeeds and blog some items (link in nic). Better late than never, just blogged Political Hat's weekly round-up.
