…On this day in 1923 Vice President Calvin Coolidge became President after the death of Warren G. Harding. He was elected on his own in 1924. Silent Cal he was called and he was the best President we have had in the modern era. He reduced taxes and government and was probably the last President to ever do so. And as a result the nation's economy boomed. Reagan reduced taxes and tried to reduce government but was blocked by Democrats in congress and some of his own RINO Party. And just about everything he did was undone by the Democrats in congress and Bush. …
