Two police officers and at least one other person were wounded by a gunman in the self-proclaimed “autonomous” district of Christiania, a sort of vast hippie squat located just across the harbor from downtown Copenhagen. The suspected shooter was arrested, and is said to be a Bosnian with connections to the Islamic State.

In other news, the State Department’s warning to Americans not to travel to Turkey is reportedly based on reliable intelligence that there is an imminent likelihood of multiple large-scale terrorist attacks, especially in the Kurdish areas of southeast Turkey.…
