Monsignor Georges Abou Khazen, the Apostolic Vicar of Aleppo, says that the “moderate” Syrian “rebels” supported by the United States and the EU have been bombarding civilians and committing other atrocities in their pushback against the Assad regime in Syria. He maintains that there is no significant difference between these groups and the Islamic State and the al-Nusra Front.
