…On this day in 1974 the Department of Justice under RINO Gerald Ford filed its final anti-trust suit against ATT Corporation. This suit later lead to the breakup of ATT and its Bell System. In the end people's telephone bills went up and service became poorer. The only people that made out were businesses and folks who made a lot of long distance calls.…

I remember buying our first phone, and the quality products and service of the spun-off SW Bell. We thought we had killed the beast, whatever the cost. Today, with all the consequent improvements, the monster still thrives, more than ever!
