…On this day in 1981 the Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously approved Sandra Day O'Flip-Flop to become the first female justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Like a lot of justices appointed by Republicans she started out as primarily a conservative ruling with the Constitution but slowly began to vote liberal on key cases where she earned her "flip-flop" reputation.…
