Our analysis of the latest controversy: The original birth certificate was probably in a 'negative' form, and someone at the White House took it upon themselves to doctor it up so he [sic] can be legible.

For decades, the hate-America left pounded away with the unrelenting theme that all of our investigating committees and agencies that exposed the enemies within must be silenced, defanged or abolished. "The Manchurian President: Barack Obama's Ties to Communists, Socialists and Other Anti-American Extremists" lays bare all the reasons for the pathological zeal with which that ultimately (mostly) successful wrecking-crew operation was pursued: The probes kept pointing to step-by-step infiltration of constituencies that favored the Democratic Party.

Friends of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin are hoping a few hundred people will show up to greet the jailed military doctor when he's released from prison and returns to Baltimore, Md., on May 14. Dr. Terry Lakin, an Army doctor who refused to deploy again to Afghanistan when his chain of command refused to verify that Obama legitimately is president, has been serving a six-month term at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas.

Just hours before her arrest, the libtalker who disrupted Tuesday evening's town hall meeting with a Florida congressman took to the airwaves to rail against the freshman incumbent, looking to pack the event with fellow "progressives". ... U.S. Rep. Allen West's first town hall meeting since voting for a controversial Medicare proposal saw three hecklers removed -- one in handcuffs -- from a generally supportive crowd of about 500.... "What you have seen happen previously is you get such a line of people and a lot of folks want to come up and proseletyze for six or seven minutes and you're really not getting to the questions that people want to have answered," West said after the meeting. West, who has gone back and forth with critics at his previous meetings, said the written format was not an effort to avoid tough questions. "I don't duck," West said. During the meeting, West had responded to a question about Medicare when Nicole Sandler of Coral Springs, a former radio host on the liberal Air America network, began shouting from the audience. Other audience members began shouting at her and a police officer led her out....

Children as young as eight are being raped in front of their families by Gaddafi's forces in Libya, according to a leading charity. Aid workers described horrific stories of widespread sexual abuse, including one incident in which a group of girls was abducted and held hostage for four days. When they were finally released, they were too traumatised to speak. Other children have described being forced to watch as their fathers were murdered and their mothers raped.

Still visible on the remains of the gutted barn's walls Tuesday were spray-painted epithets such as "f-gs are freaks" and "burn in hell," the newspaper reported. Because Whitehouse is gay and fire marshals determined the blaze was arson, the scrawlings were enough for authorities to launch an investigation into whether a hate crime had been committed. The value of the horses was said to be in hundreds of thousands of dollars but Whitehouse, who owns an insurance company in the tiny village in southeastern Ohio, was hurt far more by the loss of Elvis, Barney, Love, Bella and Ethel, Floyd and Princess and her week-old foal, Buddy.

Sarah Palin 2012

Sarah Palin 45x45The leftists were and are gung-ho on promoting their own kind. They don't use the word eugenics anymore, they engage in "political satire" and when challenged ask "are you too stupid to get it?" Trig Palin's existence must irk them to no end. The so-called champions of the dispossessed, the marginalized, and the weak can't hide their eugenic roots when a real bona fide "strain on society's resources" shows up. Couple that with the fact that his parents didn't attend Princeton or Yale and it's no wonder they feel emboldened.

Free Expression

A lawsuit has been filed in California to protect the rights of three men who were arrested after being accused of "impeding an open business" even though the "business" was the local department of motor vehicles, and it was closed. Oh, and the men were standing at least 50 feet from the entrance, impeding no one.... The arrests happened on Feb. 2, 2011, when the assistant pastor from Calvary Chapel of Hemet and two church elders went to the public property. Mackey then started reading the Bible aloud.... He was arrested less than 30 minutes later, and the two others were arrested a short time after that, even though they had not actually been reading the Bible aloud. The men believed they had a First Amendment right to free speech and they were standing in a planter in the parking lot and were on public property. A member of the California Highway Patrol approached Mackey, grabbed his Bible and arrested him.... "The arresting officer could find no appropriate penal code to use when arresting these men. The purpose of the arrests appears to have been to censor them...."

n an extraordinary outburst, Republican Sam Slom said the 'real issue' behind the reluctance of the President, who says he was born in Hawaii, to release full details from his birth certificate was unlikely to be because he wanted to hide his place of birth. Obama.2008 was engaging, patient, open, optimistic and a self-identified conciliator. Obama.2011 has been something else—testy, petulant, impatient, arrogant and increasingly a divider. Never forget: That historic 2008 victory came with 52.9% of the total vote and 52% of independent voters. David Axelrod recently noted "how small the margin for error is." Presidential personality is well inside the margin of error for 2012, but the one on display recently has not been attractive. And it's happening a lot.... ...suddenly he's sounding more like Travis Bickle ("You talkin' to me?") than the president of the United States.,,,,

Spiritual Matters

British media on Monday described Sathya Sai Baba, who passed away in Andhra Pradesh's Puttaparthi on Sunday, as one of the most enigmatic and remarkable religious figures of the last century. "Sathya Sai Baba, who died on Sunday, probably aged 84, was India's most famous, and most controv ersial, Swami or holy man, and one of the most enigmatic and remarkable religious figures of the last century," the Daily Telegraph reported. "To his followers, Sai Baba was a living god; a claim he did nothing to disavow. He would frequently liken himself to such figures as Christ, Krishna, and the Buddha, claiming that he was the avatara of the age - an avatar being a living incarnation of the divine," the report said. To his detractors he was a charlatan, albeit one of considerable ingenuity and enormous personal charisma and power," it said. Describing Sai Baba as one of India's most popular and controversial spiritual leaders, The Times said: "Sai Baba claimed to teach messages of truth, peace, love and non-violence and maintained that he did not require followers to give up their previous religious beliefs." "His popularity was huge across India, where his following included Bollywood stars, the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, prime ministers, judges and civil servants.

Theory of Education

A new study presents evidence that more than a quarter of sociologists (27.8 percent) would "weigh favorably" membership in the Democratic Party by a candidate for academic appointment, and nearly 30 percent would weigh favorably a prospective candidate's membership in the ACLU. More than a quarter (28.7 percent) would disfavor hiring a Republican, and 41.2 percent would weigh negatively a candidate's membership in the National Rifle Association. The study shows even greater bias against candidates with particular religious affiliations. Substantial numbers of the sociologists surveyed said they would be "less likely to hire" evangelical Christians and fundamentalists if they were aware that a candidate fell into either of those categories. Evangelicals face the barrier that 2 out of 5 sociologists (39.1 percent) are disposed not to hire them. Fundamentalists fare even a bit worse: 41.2 percent of sociologists say they would take such an affiliation negatively into account.

Sarah Palin 45x45Yesterday, I chose the top ten clues that Sarah Palin has been giving that she is running for President. Today, I give the top 10 things the Republican establishment and the mainstream media say to dissuade Palin from running. Somewhere in Alaska, Palin is probably laughing at these figures who seem to think they have the power to convince her or speak on her behalf.... By mocking her and treating her as a lightweight, the GOP establishment risks alienating her fervent supporters. It is ironic that the GOP establishment, which tries to dissuade Palin from running because they think she would be catastrophic in the general election, does not see that their anti-Palin candidate of choice would not be able to win a general election if Palin's voters stay home in protest.

Scott Walker. Hundreds of labor supporters surrounded the rally, trying to drown Palin out with chants of "Hey-hey, ho-ho, Scott Walker has got to go!" and "Recall Walker!" "Hey, folks! He's trying to save your jobs and your pensions!" Palin yelled into the microphone. "Your governor did the right thing and you won! Your beautiful state won! And people still have their jobs!" ... The tea partyers appeared clustered in front of the building, waving "Don't Tread on Me" flags and signs that read "Public workers — the party is over," "Thank you, Scott," and "Tax and spend brings the end." Counter-protesters surrounded them, banging drums, bellowing into bullhorns and ringing bells. Article bonus: counterpoint quote from random rube, "an iron worker" saying Palin "is ill-infomred. She's biased." In New Jersey, veterans will mark the day with a similar ceremony. "That day carries many memories for me," said Bay of Pigs veteran Francisco "Pepe" Hernandez, 70, who co-founded and now heads the Miami-based Cuban American National Foundation, the most powerful Cuban exile lobby in the world. "More than anything, they're bitter memories because of so many young men who died needlessly because of the extraordinary errors of the Kennedy Administration."

Make no mistake: The knock-down, drag-out battle in Wisconsin is based on total self-interest, pushing for past privileges, recast as workers' "rights" that ultimately could bankrupt that state. One would think "collective bargaining rights" are immutable, found in the Bill of Rights, or in The Universal Rights of Man, to hear the public union officials and their lackeys in the Legislature. It is simply not so. No matter how often the Orwellian construction of "rights" is flung to describe collective bargaining, it does not make it so. A lie, a mantra repeated incessantly, is not truth, no matter how fervently held.

US Military

The mainstream media are reporting that there's a good chance military pay will be suspended after 8 April. In practical terms, this means there will be a 15 April paycheck containing pay through the 8th (half the normal semi-monthly amount), and nothing after that until the shutdown is over. Obviously, there are questions about why the Obama administration is emitting signals like this. They are politically stupid; no significant constituency thinks the US budget battle has to be fought across the monthly bills of our fighting men and women. The possibility that the military will be required to continue on duty without pay also highlights one of the important differences between the military and the rest of the federal government. The government can't require its civilian work force to operate without pay. Its only options, with the civilian work force, are furloughing employees and shutting down services. The civilian work force is protected by union agreements and labor laws in this regard. The troops are not.

A "certificate of live birth" can have names changed on it including a child's birth name, and birth parent's names. Even a modified date of birth can be on a "certificate of live birth". This occurs frequently for adopted children where the birth parent does not want the child to know who they are. The public has no idea who Barry's real birth father is or who Barry's real birth mother is. (Barry could have been adopted by his mother) The original birth certificate is the only legal vital statistics record of a person's birth parents, birth location, birth date, etc… I can get a "certificate of live birth" for a dead person; I cannot get a birth certificate of a dead person without "Deceased" on it. (I've tried) There is no evidence Barry Soetoro ever lawfully changed his name to "Barrack Hussein Obama". There is no proof Barry Soetoro was born with the name "Barrack Hussein Obama". I'm willing to bet the name "Barrack Hussein Obama" is not present on the real birth certificate as Barry's birth name or as Barry's birth father. Know the Enemy

There are few people who have done as much damage to Israel as Richard Goldstone. While the report did not itself cost lives, it will cost lives because it places Israel, and Israel alone, under threat of war crimes charges in the future based upon defensive military actions when facing enemies who deliberately hide among civilians. It is no coincidence that Israel preemptively has released a list of hundreds of Hezbollah weapons depots and bunkers spread among civilian areas in Lebanon. Israel knows that when Hezbollah eventually unleashes its tens of thousands of missiles against Israel, the U.N. and international community will demand that Israel not attack the civilian areas from which the missiles were fired. This is one of the legacies of the Goldstone Report. Allegations of war crimes simply have become a tool in the arsenal of the enemies of Israel, providing both international pressure and military advantage. So how curious it is that Goldstone writes an update to his report in The Washington Post, which while not quite an apologizing, backtracks significantly on his prior Report. The Goldstone op-ed truly is an amazing example of international law gone wrong; how misguided attempts at moral equivalency merely reflect on the absurdity of the anti-Israel campaign around the world.

Feeding Ourselves

The salmonella strain that prompted a recall of nearly 55,000 pounds of frozen raw turkey burgers last week is resistant to many commonly prescribed antibiotics, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC said that as of April 1, 12 people ranging in age from 1 to 86 have been reported infected with the Salmonella Hadar strain. The illnesses were reported in 10 states over the past four months, with 3 cases in Wisconsin, and 1 case each in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, and Washington. Three people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.

Spiritual Matters

One of India's best-known spiritual leaders, famous for his apparent miracles and long list of influential followers, is on life support in a southern hospital, officials said on Tuesday. Satya Sai Baba, 85, who has devotees in more than 100 countries, was admitted to a hospital funded by his organisation in the town of Puttaparthi with lung and chest congestion on March 28. His condition has since deteriorated and he is now on a ventilator and is receiving kidney dialysis, the most recent health bulletin from the hospital said on Tuesday. He remains "critical," although his "level of consciousness has considerably improved" and his vital systems are "stable", said the update from the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences. [his "level of consciousness has considerably improved" … always a great thing to say about a guru.]

No serious injuries were reported among the 118 aboard, according to Southwest Airlines, and the FBI said it was a "mechanical failure," not an act of terror or other foul play. John Thompson spent 14 years in jail until he was exonerated. The prosecutor had hidden evidence. A jury gave Thompson $14 million. This week the Supreme Court took it away.... "If I wasn't shaken by the seven execution dates I got, or watching my friends on death row die, I can't be shaken by what the world has to offer out here," he said in a recent interview. But he says that he is angry that the Supreme Court ruling means no one will be held accountable for his years on death row, or his near execution. "It's not about $14 million, because that was never my money anyway," he said. "People should be worried about what it means: there is no accountability. We just gave prosecutors permission to kill. That's the reality. "...

Israel Stands Alone

...the truth is there is only one thing that is capable of providing us with the level of certainty that is needed to keep from buckling under to the escalating local and international pressure. Simply stated, it is the unwavering belief that the Land of Israel was given to the Jewish people by God. This basic tenet of Judaism has the ability to instill within us the deep sense of conviction that is needed to fully believe in the justness of our cause and to stand strong against those who challenge our right to exist as a sovereign nation in the Land of Israel. Moreover it is this, and not the Holocaust or a UN vote, which is our real claim to the Land of Israel. The question is, do we as individuals and as a nation actually believe in this most basic principle of Judaism? [As the Bard said, Aye! There's the rub!]

US Military Casualties

US FlagBeginning at about 10 p.m. eastern on the night of March 30, casualty notices from the Pentagon began filling my inbox. In all, at least six U.S. soldiers, all serving with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based out of Kentucky's Fort Campbell, were killed on March 29 in Afghanistan's Konar province. The families of the fallen have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since the e-mails started pouring in. When I mentioned this last night on The Unknown Soldiers Facebook page, the online community, while universally supportive of our troops and their families, also demanded answers from the national press. "Not one thing was mentioned by the media," one fan wrote, as another asked: "Why have we not heard of this?"

Sharia Sucks

an incident in Mansfield, Ohio, where the Mansfield High School forced a local Tea Party group to change venues after the group invited an "anti-Islam" speaker. According to the school, the event was canceled not because of the speaker's message but because the school — in consultation with the police — decided that it "could not guarantee public safety...." illustrates the power of "vigilante sharia," the all-too-often demonstrated willingness of radicals to go outside the law to enforce sharia norms on the rest of the community.... Violent or (more commonly) merely threatening radicals should fear law enforcement more than citizens should fear the radicals.
