Near here, there's a bird sanctuary, and we see great birds flying over us frequently. We also watch as pieces of windmills are trucked down the highways to tax-incentivized wind farms.

The Human Society of Tulsa helped save 58 Chihuahuas and Chihuahuas mixes from a hoarding situation, along with the City of Tulsa and Tulsa Animal Welfare. The owner voluntarily gave the pets up, says the Humane Society.

Among the breeds rescued were senior dogs, and even puppies, and the Humane Society is working to get the animals ready for adoption.…

Bartlesville police found two dead dogs – a pit bull and a shepherd mix – upon arrival at the home… A shepherd mix dog in the yard was alive, but emaciated… owner… told police he knew one of the dogs was dead and he did not want to move the others because he didn’t want to bring “sickness” to his new home.… claimed he fed the dogs six cans of food the day before… but an autopsy showed only dirt, plastic and wood in the canine stomach… [Our dear dog is a pit bull shepherd mix with a bit of chow, and a wonderful, wonderful guy. A student recorded the incident. In the video, the officer is seen spraying the animal after it began chasing students around at Kimbrough Middle School. Students are heard begging the cop, reffered to as Officer Davis on the video, to stop with cries of "No!" and "Don't spray him!"
