The United States flag is never to be flown upside down except in times of great distress or emergency. I believe we are in both. We are in a perilous time in which the Supreme Court has decided on the one hand that the plain language of a law is not binding – that the Justices can read the minds of those who wrote the law, and that the will of the People is not binding upon them. In short, the United States Supreme Court has just announced that we are no longer a Constitutional Federal Republic, that we are not even a Representative Democracy. We are an oligarchy ruled ultimately by unelected, unaccountable judges who can now dictate law and ignore the Constitution and the will of the People.
Is it even imaginable that the “Justices” who just voted to:
- Ignore the written text of a bill and all the collateral evidence that says “and we really mean it this way;”
- Seize political control of the oldest and least political of all human institutions;

A blonde-haired boy and his pet stuff-animal tiger Hobbes were recently separated at the Tampa International Airport before boarding a flight to Houston, TX. Hobbes was found by airport employees and when the boy’s mother reported Hobbes as missing, they assured her that Hobbes would be there when the family returned back to Tampa. An airport employ decided to take Hobbes around the airport taking photos of Hobbes with different employees doing various activities.
