Kyesha was upset when her son told her what had happened, as any decent parent would be. But most parents would likely reprimand their daughters and move on.
Not Kyesha. She posted this on Facebook….
"At our 14 week ultrasound our baby was clapping, so I sang a song with our doctor as my husband filmed…"
…[man] reportedly appeared intoxicated… [told police] he “had drank 1/4 of a fifth of whiskey,” then led them to the apartment… [police] found [woman] inside, “passed out on the couch” with “a screaming infant right next to her head in a cradle…" 3 weeks old… [woman] “never moved nor heard the small infant…” When [she] came to, she reportedly “began breastfeeding her baby” despite orders from authorities to not do so in her intoxicated state…
On January 16, Carlos and Erica Morales welcomed three girls and one boy — Carlos Jr., Tracey, Paisley and Erica. But after delivering four healthy babies via C-section, Erica, 36, went into hypovolemic shock, a condition that involves severe blood loss, and died a few hours after her children were born. Today, Carlos is raising the kids by himself in Phoenix, Ariz., though not without help from his mother-in-law, friends, and now, more than 9,000 strangers.

Her boyfriend also has been charged. … terrorized and tortured the girl by dressing as a witch… victim was hit, kicked, scratched, whipped, burned and forced to sleep in the garage or outside with the dogs. …denied adequate food and medical care… not allowed to go to school. … nurse described the girl as so thin she looked like a Holocaust victim." [And it gets worse.]
DHS accused of inaction. The reply?
"The DHS spokeswoman said critics of how the hotline call was handled are being unfair. 'You can’t use hindsight to evaluate something…." (Emphasis added.)
Melinda Gates, of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has announced that her international family planning foundation will no longer fund abortion because she believes abortion and family planning have become “conflated.” … [Melinda Gates:] "The question of abortion should be dealt with separately. But in the United States and around the world the emotional and personal debate about abortion is threatening to get in the way of the lifesaving consensus regarding basic family planning."
Vanessa Cullins, vice president for external medical affairs at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said she hopes the future of health care under the Affordable Care Act includes more women using “long-acting” forms of birth control, including intrauterine devices that can cause a fertilized embryo to be aborted.

[Adoptive parents] support her decision, are following all the prenatal protocol for high-risk pregnancies, and have already lined up six qualified couples who are eager to adopt [her] child once he or she is born. However, when Washoe County Social Services became aware of Elisa’s pregnancy, the department issued an informal report requesting that the Court set a status hearing to address the potential health effects Elisa’s pregnancy could have on her and her unborn child, and possibly override the mutual decision made between Elisa and her parents to have her baby. [Emphasis added. It's like that old 1950s TV sitcom, Government Knows Best, right?]
