pet
Our time with pets is always too short.
Anna Puma's black medium-haired (apparently) cat reminds me of our little gal Faithful. Faithful was probably the littlest cat we've ever had. Roxy was small in size, but fat.
Seamus: ...This morning he is totally back to normal, jumping and playful as ever.
Hooray for happy endings! Scary story.
Pet thread! Woof! Woof!
(I see Seamus beat me to that, sorta)
Tilikum: Are you new here?
Ah, so something of Great Import was discussed and you won't let me in on it. Well... harrrumph!
RioBravo: And for a daily dose of weirdness (don't call them pets!):

3.
Black kitty is apparently the Designated Annoyer this morning. Hard to type with her in my lap demanding petting.
Gotta go feed some beasts. If I'm not back soon, I'll be back later.
We've had so many pets here at the farm in the past 20 years, it's hard to keep track of 'em, much less remember which I've written about for the pet thread.
Subjects: Aquata (cat), Athena (cat), Caramel (cat), Diana (cat), Patches (cat), Tigger (cat), Zeus (cat)
Three realizations since the coffee finally kicked in...
3. If I'm reading the comments correctly, there's some kind of political contest this year?
Welcome home, Humans!
I know you're not very good hunters, so I brought you a still-warm little baby bunny! Here, I'll drop it under your kitchen table for you.
Ah, yes! The joys of pet ownership.
Charlie just came in the house with his latest trophy comma, a small bird.
Since I'm not much of a gardener, guess I'll hang out here.
I think we should choose our candidates based on their pets.
With just a shake of the head, the fur does spread. Starring Jack the Cat. He was a good kitty. Re-rolled to correct Jack's birth year.
I am so saddened to hear about the little kit not making it.
Missed participating in the pet thread this week, but enjoyed reading all the post and comments anyway. Happysadz, as always.
I told the pets I'd get up and feed them just as soon as we get a new thread.
They didn't look happy.
But anyway, that time has come.
Charlie's Tail (and Max's)
Boy, was I willowed. That's what I get for going and feeding the pets.
Dang - late to the pet thread again. Maybe next week...!
Got to the pet thread late, and I guess it's about past done now. Not as much dusty-eyes as the initial one, but lots of great stuff, happy and sad.
MP4's new puppeh... yay!
I generally take off my shoes in the house, switching to my comfy houseslippers...
but I also have a dog and four cats tracking in whatever they have.
This is particularly hilarious for me.
If I made NGU smile, I've done my good deed for the day.
My favorite cat was wander'ng 'round,
With the most obnoxious mews,
So angry, I'm up and dressed,
And there's not even any Vic News!

I remember, when daughter was on a road trip, looking out the window and seeing her cat - who had been missing a couple of days.
WhatWhatWhat?: Shouldn't the AGW crowd be HAPPY that the sea ice is growing?
Oh, wait. No money in that.
Fixed it for grumpy activist reality.

Morning, Glories! Cool and drizzly in NE OK this AM. Looks like a Halloween week ought to look.
