I wonder that I don't get as pumped up about how things are going today. Maybe it's that I believe in the long-term outlook — really, really long-term. Or maybe it's that I burned out my give-a-dang meter back around when we handed Nam to the Commies.

Or maybe I've just been pacified by the chemtrails.
