...he deployed his parachute, then the bomber exploded. His chute collapsed, and as he attempted to re-inflate it he saw one of the bombs go past him.

(watching nuke go by) "Oh dear. Well, let's see... Do I really need to keep trying to reinflate this chute?"

1. Impossibly escape plane.
2. Re-inflate (presumably) collapsed chute.
3. Nuke does not go off.
4. Ask Marilyn Monroe to dinner.
