The culture taught us a lot wrong

New one up, I hear? Well, for closers and before I have to head back to RL...

Milady Webworker grew up West Side Chicago Irish Catholic Democrat.

She talks about how she started to study Feminist literature. The 1960s, early '70s, y'know.

Unfortunately, the poor girl was cursed with Logical Consistency, and ultimately realized it was all vaporware. I find that remarkable.

She went into Anthropology until she realized the same about it.

When we met, other unconfronted ideas included Theism and Marriage. We thank God for our marriage.

I grew up small town Oklahoma Republican Protestant, but it's remarkable what an infection Regressivism had become everywhere in even small-urban culture by the late '50s, and of course the 1960s, especially its hedonistic permissiveness.

The culture taught us a lot wrong and did us a lot of damage, which I'm sad to say our kids did not entirely escape, but at least we could learn by hard knocks what we did not get taught as we might have in a better culture. At least we can learn. It's been a Hell of a learning curve.
