How simple that seems now

One of the first thoughts to arise in my uncaffeinated brain this morning:

When I began arguing against Big Gov, decades ago, I argued against things like Amtrack and prohibition and expanding welfare, and whether Govt should run the mail or the highways.

How simple that seems now. And how innocent my concerns that if we didn't stop those encroachments, it would soon be the whole camel in the tent. I didn't expect a herd of camels trampling the tent!
