Trying to Remember "Devotional"

Me: FenelonSpoke's thesis of the day.

FS: LOL. Well, by length it might be considered heading in that direction. ;^) but I can't claim it as mine.

Heh, in haste I was trying to remember "devotional" and all I could come up with was "sermon" - "thesis" stepped up and said, "Put me in, coach," so I did.

[Interrupted and belatened by stopping to feed the pesks.]

It's -- somewhat a strain for me to not wax cynical when I read devotionals that reinforce what I've known and tried to live by for decades, only to meet constant defeat and feel like I've never known the right way, much less followed it. I could write a thesis m'self....

I think I have found the essence of the problem. It's that still, small voice behind me that whispers, "this is the way." So, I say, oh? okay! and I turn around and head that way, and I hear that voice behind me again, so I turn around....
