Highs in the nineties,
Lows above seventy,
For days and days yet to come.

Just enough trace of
some rain in the forecast
To raise the humidity some.

Wish I could afford
to replace the a/c
that decided to go on the blink!

So: no pants, a wet shirt;
Sit in front of the fan,
While nursing an icy cold drink.
