Summer of 1980 in Oklahoma
Summer of 1980 in Oklahoma. Highs above 100°F daily and never got below 80° at night, for over six weeks. We had no air conditioning, but worked in a/c daytime then slept on the roof at night; quite nice, actually. In a survivalist kind of way.
Then we moved to Chicago for the winter with the coldest night ever recorded there.
Any weather after that seems mild.
Out of nowhere came a man with a miraculous message.
