Simpsons when they were funny

Wish I could take credit for the Stan Lee line, but I'm not nearly that clever. It's a Simpsons line.

Well, I always say, steal from the best.

Must've been the early Simpsons when they were funny, but I don't recall the line. I watched 'em all, I think, live or by re-run, until that day the army recruiters at the mall tried to get the town punks to join and when they wouldn't, one soldier made some disparaging remark about the stupidest kids in the stupidest town won't join. This, while we were at war, IIRC. Anyway, I turned it off and never ever bothered to care about it again.
