Sort-of in response to the fellow talking about a grandmother telling the 5yo there is no Santa Claus (that was on the ONT, if my sleepyheaded memory is correct), and in the vein of "Yes Virginia," here's something I first posted on CompuServe's Religion Forum, Christmas Eve, 1988.

I especially remember how outraged an atheist regular on the forum was that I didn't concede that this conflation of Santa and God was just confirming they were both fantasy.
