Prayer for Intervention

Mr. Jesus, or appropriate subordinates handling written requests:

I am unaccustomed to such missives. Forgive any impropriety or inappropriateness.

We appear to have a situation here with a rogue United States President who hasn't got a clue about foreign policy (or much of anything else); who is about to involve the USA, our good military folks, in something that this world doesn't want, doesn't need, and we shouldn't do. Doesn't look good at the moment, from the perspective down here in mortal life.

I'm sure the Supreme Administration is aware of the situation. I've read that the Most Highs rule in the kingdoms of men. I'm sure that, despite all the Hitlers great and small of history, the world's Ultimate Destiny is under divine overcontrol, all evil redounds to the Good, eventually.

Still, if it's not against Our Father's Will, right now today, hear our plea - mine and all who concur that this is a disaster in the making - and somehow see your way to making sure this doesn't happen.

And if you could smack Obama's and Kerry's noggins together hard enough to make a difference, slip that in, too.
