Not Enough Zots

It's tired and I'm late. Howdy, folks.

Worked on a big project today on my little ASUS tablet. Final thing, I was backing up my work and noticed the battery said 1% "and charging." It was plugged in all day, which means... ?... it was using more energy than it charged? It didn't even have the tablet screen on - was linked to the big screen. Did I have too many of those fat 0's compared to the skinny 1's processed?

At least, it kept powered-up until the backups were done.

I don't understand power management on this thing. Seems like it runs off the battery, no matter what. But it can, as today, run down while charging. ? Why can't it charge the battery, but just run off the line power when it's plugged in? Not enough zots going down that little USB connector line to do both? What? What?

When I unplugged and moved to home base, I had to wait a while until it had recharged enough to boot up. Meanwhile, I looked at the thread via the cell. Being on a byte-limited AT&T line at home, I rarely click on the many no-doubt great vids to which folks on the ONT link (big sadz). But tonight, on the little cell screen with tinny speakers, I did watch Sue Foley New Used Car. That was okay, thanks.
