My Appendix Burst
I was something like 9 when Mom kept telling ol' Doc Johnson there was something seriously wrong with me: he kept saying it was a tummy ache (that that is doctor talk). Mom was right. My appendix burst. Not too many years earlier, that would've been fatal! Yay for modern med! I mostly recall I had to learn to walk all over again.
Oh! I forgot to thank her for that again today!
