Legal argument

Late reply, busy morn; but, wth.

"I said 'it doesn't seem like a crime occurred here.' You have a reading comprehension problem? I didn't make a legal argument at all."

I asked Mrs, who can often help me understand thought patterns alien to mine, for her thought on the above. She said, I understand he's saying IANAL, not making a case before a judge. Except, I told her, I think maybe he is a lawyer. In any case, she said prettymuch what I thought: "doesn't look like a crime occurred" in layman's terms is prettymuch = a legal 'argument.' I am a layman, plus, I play one on teh infrawebz.
