It's All the Same

As a little kid, I always thought it was the funniest thing that Adam and Eve tried to hide from God Who Sees and Knows Everything.

I often recall the rhetorical question, "Who told you that you are naked?"

I heard that question from my parents from time-to-time. Not about nakedness, of course, but usually about something that was broken, or scarred, or missing cookies.

It's all the same. They (and God) knew more about me then I knew/know myself.

Eve blaming the serpent, and Adam blaming Eve ("She told me to do it!") was the onset of rationalization to justify/excuse almost anything.
