Yup, and a few we'll never face.* Doesn't mean he faced temptation and persecution "throughout his lifetime."
A niggling matter. I'll cut the Pope some slack for his first papal Easter season's enthusiasm. Hyperbole is not the same as untruthiness, is it?

*Devil showed Jesus all the nations? I suspect that was metaphor Jesus employed explaining to 1st Century AD understanding. Nowadays, we can understand the territory in question was probably considerably more... cosmic.
