Giving Birth is Terrifying

"Fathers in the UK are now being treated for PTSD after watching their wives give birth..."

I was basically the midwife for the home birth of our first, and was holding my beloved's hand while she delivered our twins, in the hospital. Incredibly traumatic; Mrs was terrifying!! But as with the new mom, the next moment is the most amazing of all life, holding that newborn miracle (or two); what better post-trauma therapy could there be? Those boys just weren't paying attention.
