reminds me... wife tells the story of her HS school teacher nun telling a class, you don't call the Irish 'Micks,' you don't call the Poles 'Pollacks', and (in a class that's got ny Italians), "you don't call the Dagos 'Wops.'"

Wife's friend got sent to the office for correcting the nun.
