#1, gutterural has two u's. (Yes, I had to look it up.)

#2, although this incident may cause us to make guttural noises, I'm pretty sure you meant gutter filth.

(It's my English teachers' voices haunting my head that make me write this.)

Milady and I both had the same reaction when the identities and pix of the two policemen came out. Liu and Ramos: How… American! How… New York! God bless their families, friends, and fellow officers.

I well remember this cop-hating crap from back in the 60s, kin to the spit-on-soldiers mentality. I hope this gets knocked down fast, but it's not going to go away easily with those in high places fanning the flames.
