Ampersand hunt

...Test to see if I get ampers with Pale Moon.

...Opera gives me ampers.

Opera 12 on the desktop, Opera Mini on the cell, never lost an ampersand on AoS.

I wonder if that's really browser-related, or is it the ISO character settings on the browsers. Or something. (Not having any clue makes speculating easy.)
