Someone clue me in on what the thing is carved into the "scariest pumpkin of all time"? I just can't make anything out of it that makes sense. Even with my glasses on!

Circumstances have conspired to keep me up late, so I've read the post and comments all the way through, because waiting.

It's only just past 2am local real time, 3am slavings time, but 4am Ace Slavings Time, which makes it feel even later than it is! As if 2am isn't late enough!!

Do we get off slavings time before the election? Just one more thing to mess with the electorate's collective head.

This will probably be my 1&only comment for the night, despite all the things in my head that could come out. 'Cause I think I'm done with the circumstances that've been keeping me up, the dog and cats are all inside, and tomorrow happens at 8am real time, if not sooner.

Hand signals - haven't used them in ages, but they are still handy for that tiny handful of respectful bicyclers.

Many of y'all remember stomping with the left foot on the floor switch for bright/dim lights? It's push/pull on a steering wheel shaft now, and sometimes when I try to dim the lights, I'll turn the knob and the lights go off. Always fun on a dark road at night.

I still sometimes have to remind myself not to pump the gas before trying to start the car.

True? Who knows! But, nice to imagine. I sure would like to check in on election day + 1 and laugh at Pete for being so wrong about the winner. But even if the Anonymous poll proved true, there's sure going to be one monstrous "margin of fraud" to overcome - the biggest ever.

Seen it frequently, before, but just watched it twice again just now, with Milady and daughter. So amazing.

There are maybe a half-dozen cuts, which could mean different takes spliced together, but I don't think so.

More impressive than the splits landings is lifting themselves back up with just their leg power. Defying gravity, indeed.
