"Just say the word - unlike a troll I won't hang around where I'm not wanted."

I hope this wasn't in response to my earlier comment. But I'll be watching you, now.

More than once I've dropped a hello on a thread, and immediately see folks calling troll. I look around and, like the apostles at the Last Supper, I wonder, "Is it I?"

Par-a-noia strikes de-ep…

Although we've never tried.
Some neighbor fired a shot just now.
My doggie ran inside.

It seems to me Mr Malor lives rent-free in a few heads here, so we are burdened with his views even on a Saturday when he's absent.

One commenter is making my troll radar twitch.

Thanks, Vic, for the news. Howdy, everybody.

Hey, folks, wouldn't you like your little one to have a Wendy Davis onesie?

In my Cafepress store. I'd just slap a cartoon on anything from coasters to posters, including adult and child wearables and baby blankets and sippy cups. I can easily imagine this was simply a similar multi-product imprinting by some functionary.

Nevertheless. Babies' Abortion Barbie Wear! Stone tone-deaf or outright in-your-race-face evil?

Correcting my correction. (In danger of infinite regression here.) I said Elise Cavanna "was only in three films, all with WC. Those were the only ones mentioned in her bio, and I failed to scroll down to her filmography, which was hearty. Thanks, Grunt, for tipping me off to my error.

That dentist scene keeps making me chuckle; great comics go great with their deadpan foils, like Margaret Dumont with Groucho.

Noting that I left three links without that comment going into moderation. FWIW.

Well, I believe I was wrong. There were two patients in The Dentist. When WC leaves, then returns, he asks the assistance, "Are there any patients?" Assistant replies, "Miss Mason." I had mistakenly presumed the assistant referred to another, unseen patient, but watching it again, I got the joke. WC has completely forgotten that Miss Mason is in the chair.

So, that writhing actress would actually be Elise Cavanna, who was only in three films, all with WC. Still, she was great in this physical comedy, akin to Zazu Pitts.

Well, that's a shame. I'm big on preserving everything (said the man whose earliest webpages are stored on some antiquated storage method). Kind-of a shame your (Pete & all) hard work isn't allowed to stand. And chrissy, Webshots sure did you a disservice.

I'm curious, though. When I just leave an image link, as far as I can tell, it is a "hot" link. That is, if I reference a pic on my site, the file is not copied to WordPress, it just links to the file on my site, so outside-linked images should stand as long as they're in the original locations.

Sorry, thinking out loud, trying to understand.

Greetings, gang.

Seconding Red Pill's complaint. Yesterday, I clicked a link to "the faces of John Kerry" or something, and all the pix were gone. Are you telling me you have a limit on how many pix one can have on a Wordpress blog? That can't be right. Even lowly mindfulwebworks.com has unlimited storage with the ISP. Anyway, old pages w/o pix are disappointing.

Whoops. Meant to leave those last two items on Pete's warm feeling thread.

Oh, hey, in local news, here in beautiful Smallville, Mid-America. Looks like we've got a new pizza place. Must be the fourth one opened up this year. My son's a driver for one of them, and they're feeling the competition a little. But this place promises to be the only Italian style pizza in town. What do Italians know about pizza?

Next, this tidbit, from the Court Filings, marriage, Oct 6:

Adam Michael P___ and Mary Kathleen C___
Isn't that sweet? I'll bet she's Catholic.

Phillip Eugene S___ and Crystal Gail G___
Crystal Gail. Yes, this is Cowboy Country.

and then there's this

Thomas Edward G___ and Frederick Charles C___
Lisa Renee B___ and Karen Leigh W___
Billy Mac T___ and Robert David M___ Jr.

Billy Mac. That thar's a local kind of name. Hey, wait a minute!

Ha ha ha! Looks like the silly local paper is at it again. I'll bet those last six folks are going to be mad at the paper for mixing up their names! They look like… like…

Oh, my! Oh, my!

Wait… is that just a general tax or for some bad joke in particular, and if the latter, which one? For the record. And do we get offset dollars for likes and dislikes? I feel so judged! We need to see the rules! :)

Grunt: "You gotta give the actress credit for that scene. It takes skill to do that kind of physical humor."

I believe that patient is "Miss Peppitone," played by Dorothy Granger. (iMDB bio)

I haven't seen these vids. Comments on Ace this morning were generally negative on Scott's handling of it, although one commenter jibed that he thought it was a good strategy to rattle his opponent and "it worked."

I thought this one was good:

Dear Rick Scott,

You bonehead. That's not how you do it. Sheesh, doesn't anyone remember Reagan's "youth and inexperience" line? Won the election right there. Come out, greet Crist. Express concern for his health, tell him that since he's unable to debate issues for an hour without a fan to keep him from collapsing, if he feels faint to just say so, you'd be happy to delay the debate for a few minutes to let him lie down or get a glass of water so he can continue.

That's how you do it.

Grunt: "Maybe he’ll have them planting trees in the Sahara in their spare time?"

(quickly checks Google Maps to make sure I know what I'm talking about.)

Planting trees in the Sahara might actually be prefereable. At least it's away from the West Coast. (But, I suppose, more in the heart of Jihadistan.)
