Dawn is dawning at last here in Central time zone. Wide bands of coral alternating with bright New Mexico turquoise, and the horizon clouds a pale mauve. Which is more artsy than saying pink, baby blue, and purple. Really is magnificent, though. Yay, day!

Okay, finally. I kept getting sever down replies whenever I tried to comment. I rebooted the cell and then could post, but I don't think that was the real problem. Anyone else not able to comment? Oh, wait…

I’m a-gonna try this one more time. Pete: My professional observer’s observation is, you need to re-learn how to put images in comments.

You no longer need to add those <img src=” and “alt=”” /> parts anymore. Just paste the URL alone, and WordPress will add all the image tag gobbledygook (sorry, technical term). And just to be super-clear, the URL is just the bit that starts with http:// (usually) and ends in .jpg (usually) or .png or .gif. (Not just Pete, lurkers: apparently, any users can add images to comments now this way.)

However, I would presume you still have to use the full image tag gobbledygook in the main post itself. So, sum total, did this change make it easier for bloggers, or twice as hard, ’cause you have to remember two techniques?
