After Republicans win, win, win,
Dems and the Media spin, spin, spin

Maddow’s blog then claims the election was a fluke, and that it’s not a 'secret' that conservative policies 'do not enjoy broad national support.' Somehow, according to the piece, Republicans won by 'obscuring' its 'unpopular ideas.'

In other words, this election was simply not a repudiation of liberal Democrats’ ideas, and certainly not a repudiation of President Obama.

Great post, Pete.

Is it just great minds thinking alike, or did you catch the opening on Rush today? ‘Cause first thing he did was play Catch a Wave! Milady and I were grinning as we drove into town listening to it.

That was the only item (AFAIK) in my comments yesterday that duplicated one of Pete's links. I meant to follow it up with an article which, alas, I failed to bookmark. Some blogger mentioned some other blogger who had traced the origin and spread of "Seinfeld Election" as the regressives have begun spinning this, from its origins, through the rest of the parrot media. As in, like the Seinfeld show's premise was "a show about nothing," so, this historic Republican victory is about nothing.

One of my favorite headlines of this election.

Morning, Glories!

I had the strangest dream. Republicans took the Senate and many Governorships. Weird, huh.

So, I went to need early. The plug castrater won, right?

Just kidding, I've seen the earlier posts.

More the hard part begins.

Dems sure are spinning the election hard and heavy in advance of getting stomped (I hope).

White House aides said President Obama won’t change his leadership style because the contests in red states don’t represent a “true national election.”

Independent quits, endorses Republican. Whattaya know! Pigs fly!

Connecticut conservative gubernatorial candidate Joe Visconti is dropping out of the race. Visconti, who was on the ballot as an Independent, is endorsing Republican challenger Tom Foley for governor.

The Hartford Courant reported that Visconti surprised everyone in a move that could boost Foley, who is in a tight race with incumbent Democratic Gov. Dannel Malloy. The news of Visconti’s endorsement of Foley came as President Barack Obama was in Bridgeport stumping for Malloy.

Visconti said he was exiting the race because he didn’t want to see Malloy re-elected. “If I can’t be governor, I want to help Tom be governor,” he said.

Angry Democrats harassed Republican Joni Ernst at her final campaign stop at the Alpha Gamm Rho fraternity house in Ames on Monday. … The protest went on for several minutes until campus police were called in.

Ernst was unfazed by the hostile Democrats. She told the crowd, “I’ve seen worse before, usually in Iraq.”

Just a tiny glitch.

"Though Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill (D) said on Monday that her office was ready for a successful Election Day, on Tuesday morning, her office said it appears the City of Hartford did not distribute voting lists to the polling places." Breitbart

Wish I had a photo of our poll workers' faces when I told them of this!
