No need to mention that the morning thread is on the doorstep, right? Everybody has already moooved on, I'm sure. (Only answer if you're not here.)

Morning, Glories!
I don't do much lately, but I did this a couple days ago, so here's an image-remix webwork.
Bernie's Plan - Sanders has a strategy to challenge The Woman Candidate.

Vic declined to bless us with news this morning. I guess the weekend unofficially begins, then. Why does it feel like Monday?
"Blorp"? I lose first to "blorp"? Really? That's what I get for typing so many syllables.

YAY!! New citizen of the universe! So, we need stats. Size, weight, gender self-identification choice...
Long reply to artisanal'ette - lost due to browser stupidity + fatfingering.

It was a good one, too. Phoooey.
Pappy O'Daniel: I thought the naturalist Earth People were all culturally versed on the glories and beauty of the sexually divergent and it was all Kwazy Kwistian Hate. No?
Hahaha. I can't claim to have anything but my own encounters as a measure here, nor speak for any but the few local tribes with which I'm familiar, but the Cherokees and Osages and Delawares that I know of are pretty much like the rest of our neighbors, proudly Oklahoman, faithfully Christian, mostly conservative.
I sometimes like to listen to the Sunday radio services in Cherokee. Don't know the language, but it's fun. yi-ti-hi-yo-to-hay-Jesus-to-ho-ya. (Forgive my employment of pidgen Cherokee - being white I gotta rasisst - and no doubt I said something rude by chance.)

Can we possibly get the 10¢ text version? For those of us eschewing videos this morning?

Morning, Glories!
Thanks, Vic, who has already retired to the rocker and won't see this.
I wonder what discussions go on behind the scenes at AoSHQ about posting the morning threads.
"Uhnnhh. Morning."
"Did you post anything?"
"No, did you?"
"No. Oh, look, this can of warm beer has only one cig butt floating in it. [chug]"
"zzz"
etc
Will, Don't think I've commented here before, but I've been following your blog for a while - lured over via Bluebird's. Enjoyable. Thanks for your work.
Regarding the tortilla record: Like anybody has a 78rpm turntable! Okay, well, I do, but I'm a geek; mine has USB out. (A Father's Day gift from the kids years ago. We actually have a huge stack of my parents' 78rpm platters I've been hoping to transcribe to digital. One. of. these.days.)
Wonder if that tortilla record stands up better (more plays) than the paper-thin discs produced in the latter days of LP's?
Speaking of unusual recording media, here's a fun fack: Earliest known audio recording is a French woman singing "Au Clair de la Lune", recorded in 1860 by means of smoke on a piece of paper. Wasn't decoded until computers came along. Amazing that it exists at all.

"They're demonizing white males while ensuring only white males run against her [Hillary]" …?
What if one of them starts cross-dressing and claiming to identify as a woman?
...a woman from another dimension?
I could totally see Bernie Sanders doing that, couldn't you?

FYI: Since even before the latest Commandments monument ruling, there has been a serious movement afoot to remove members of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma who are deemed to be, oh, just a tad out of touch with the wishes of the citizenry. Just a wee tad. I don't know how that works, or if it's gaining momentum, but it's serious.
We're badly infected with regressivitis here, just like everywhere, but the majority of Oklahomans show few symptoms, and many are immune..

FTR: In case you don't know, the photo of Hillary with the Confederate flag is a fake. The photo (w/o the flag) has been around for years. Here's a link to "politicususa.com" which snarls that "Convicted felon and right-wing activist, Dinesh D’Souza" is responsible.

BTW: Okay, since chrissy passes. I'll play pedant. I knew this one, but I looked it up just to be sure. Really!
"Best laid plans" is from an utterly unreadable poem To a Mouse, on Turning Her Up in Her Nest with the Plough by Robert "What Accent?" Burns, the most-often-quoted line being (in the original), "…The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley ... (go often astray)." Wickitpedia article on the poem.
Been flipping bk&frth between here & pages of cells to which I may be permitted to upgrade - my current cell having no screen to speak of. I hate upgrading almost as much as moving (which I hope I never have to do again). Found the cell discussions here... interesting, if not necessarily helpful or encouraging.
Apple and I have not got along ever, not since I chose a Radio Shack over their computer. I will not i.
Google-Be-Evil is something I'm trying to avoid, but the wife's Windows cell has shown me the differences and problems compared to Android.
Microsoft just seems like the least of the big three evils. It's what our desktops run, and I can always pretend W10 will come along and fix... uh.. that's a lot of pretending....
So, I found a cell I might want. Oh, but. Out of stock online. Not available in the local store here in Smallville. Have to go all the way to BigCity to get one.
Altogether, cells ceuck, as a ceystem.
