I've clicked-away more times on this thread than on this morning's dump and last night's ONT combined. Enjoyable. Gauguin beauties, nice. Knew that one was going to be the poker-playing dogs before I clicked. And then...

chique: Heh. But seriously, I stopped reading the comments in most places except here.

Other places have comments? Never noticed.

I mean...

Other places? There are other places?

I keep thinking that the Trump v Cruz slap-fest is the same technique once used by Hertz and Avis to marginalize all the others.

According to the Tweets article, Carson dumped on Internet commenters?

No self-respecting Moron can ever be for Carson again.

Wal-Mart closings would be considered a bad sign, I think, except between their China-dependency, recent flirting with exorbitant minimum-wage and other bad business decisions, I think the ghost of ol' Sam Walton is just extracting his long-overdue revenge on the pi$$-poor management that has succeeded him.

And isn't Sam's, the ones who didn't welcome what was it men or whites? the same folks as Wal-Mart?

Bad business is bad business.

Of course the Democrazis are freaking out that anyone would call the President childish. They're all utterly puerile, nay, infantile.

And by saying the petulant man-child is just a petulant man-child, the Republicans were obviously just calling a spade a spade.

I'd self-denounce for that one, but I haven't had my coffee yet.

In before the art thread, or BenK, or Doom, or whatever comes next.

Which is really amazing and unexpected.

Morning, Glories, late in the morning 'tho it's getting to be. Another pleasant, sunny day here in Oklahoma. For now...! *cue ominous music*

Whatcha been talkin' 'bout?

Hey, can y'all keep it down out here, please? Some of us are trying not to be awake.

This means you, especially, noisy yellow cat!

Home and scanned the comments a bit, but tired and ready to be through.

Don't know where the Villa Fontana Apts in Tulsa, but that was where the fire was, video of that woman that went viral, right. Points for trying, but she wasn't quite up to the level of that classic other woman "ain't nobody got time for that".

I had to map-search Pocola, OK. Down SouthEast, I see. Bit far for a meet-up for me. 'specially since I can't even seem to get to Tulsa. They don't let me out very often.

Captain Whitebread is another Okie, but I can't recall where. Southwest? And I thought I saw someone the other day saying they were middle-north OK, but I didn't recognize and don't recall the handle.

Now, I'm through.

Good Night, Gracies.

Rickman Galaxy Quest clip was excellent, but almost too much, compacting the humor and then the power of that one line. Great flick, Great Rickman.

Bouncer clip was excellent.

Picture accompanying the orgasm headline was excellent.

And I see there's a bunch of words, also. They're probably excellent, too.

So... did you ever remember it?

Brother Cavil: Attention, trifecta trackers, but you seem to have forgotten that Natalie Cole passed on New Year's Eve. Thus Bowie completed that trifecta. Mr. Rickman's passing has reopened the pool.

Covered and covered. See my #180 (even though I had to be reminded of Cole's name) and #251.

Captain Whitebread: It's a gorgeous day here -- sunny and already near 60. Not bad for Oklahoma in January.

Yeah, Captain, there's a few yard chores I should go out and do today while it's nice. Unfortunately, the nice weather just makes me want to take a nap.

Getting up early to a screaming cat might have something to do with that, too.

fixerupper: Kansas City, MO.

Ah, well, not exactly a neighbor, then. *waves anyway*

Thanks for the tip on KS winner anonymity.

fixerupper: I cross the line and buy my tickets in Kansas. Kansas is one of a handful of states that allow you to claim lottery winnings anonymously. More important to me than a low tax state.

Interesting. Milady and I used to drive up to Kansas to buy our tix - that way, we at least had a nice drive for the money. Then, Oklahoma opened up and we buy here now - don't know if Okla allows anonymous. Often think it would be nice to resume going to Kansas for the drive - this offers extra incentive.

Cross the line from where, fixerupper, if you don't mind my asking?

V the K: Michael Galeota...

Checked iMDB. Galeota was the star of "Bailey Kipper's P.O.V." which, IIRC, was an odd, cute show about some kid who had his family's whole house wired for video, stories were told in his video flashbacks, sort-of. Remember watching it with the kids.

1984-2016?? Wonder if he succumbed to Child Actor's Syndrome? Oh, not exactly. Wiki says "had a history of hypertension and high cholesterol. He also battled diverticulitis - nflammation of the digestive tract."

V the K: Natalie Cole

THANK you. Would've bugged me all day trying to remember the name.

Don't know Michael Galeota, but, yeah, I'd go with the mayor from Ghostbusters, David Margulies, being #1 to Rickman's #2.

If I counted that kind of thing.
