Folks who take in wayward relations, God bless you, but take heed.

We had nieces about the same age as our three come live with us, after my ex-sis-in-law gave up on them.

It was too late. We did them no good (well, maybe some good for the younger one), and the influence ran backward of what I'd hoped, more harm to my fam than good for them.

Don't ever let kindness cause blindness. Duty demands, protect your own first & foremost.
