The New South Wales government, led by Premier Mike Baird, will give priority to “refugees” in hiring for new public service jobs in New South Wales. Mr. Baird’s decision comes in the wake of a statement by Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to the effect that refugees “would be taking Australian jobs” or “languish” on the dole.
