When he addressed the nation this afternoon about this morning’s terror attack in Orlando that killed 50 people at a gay nightclub, President Barack Hussein Obama did not mention JIM. However, he did emphasize the urgent need for stricter gun control, so that senseless tragedies like this one may be prevented in the future.

In other news, five people were injured at an airport in Shanghai when a man threw a homemade bomb made out of a beer bottle at a check-in counter. After the attack, the alleged perpetrator cut himself in the neck with a knife, and is now in critical condition in the hospital.…

During various "deals and transfers" along with the US war on the Seminoles who aided Great Britain during the war of 1812 the US acquired more and more of Florida. In 1821 Spain ceded the remainder of Florida to the US.
