…The Scouts do not allow consumption of alcoholic beverages at scout functions. Why? Is it because alcohol is morally wrong? Is it because duty to God or Country requires one to abstain from drinking? Certainly not. The Scouts do not allow consumption of alcoholic beverages because it is unwise.

Openly homosexual leadership is beyond unwise. It is undermining the very Oath and Law we expect these boys to uphold. It is proving to them, in a way words will never be able to overcome, that the Oath and Law are “just words,” and have no meaning. It is proving to them that morality is based on convenience, and duty to God ends at doors of the church building.

What is worse about this decision is this: the homosexual lobby will not stop with this success.…

…The world is in a state of disarray and the United States is going down fast. We are losing everything that our Founding fathers based this Country on. Until last week almost all the bad terrorist or mass shootings were somewhere else and now they are in our backyard. Chattanooga TN is only about 35 minutes away from the DeKalb County line. As Sheriff I receive sensitive information from all over the United States almost on a monthly bases. I called a supervisor meeting last Friday to change the policy on our firearms. We are trying to raise the money now to buy every Certified Deputy a backup weapon to carry concealed on his person everywhere he goes. When people can walk into schools, movie theatres, recruiting stations ext. and pull a gun it’s time for all of us law abiding citizens to take a look at how we protect ourselves, family and friends. This Country is based on God, guns, and the right to protect ourselves. I think as Sheriff it is my place to protect the safety and security of our citizens. And help citizens in ways to protect their selves and their families.

When we have laws that will not allow our military personnel to wear a weapon on this soil that leaves them wide open and unable to protect themselves. 25 years or more when this law was written it wasn’t needed then and is surely not needed now. I ask each and every one of you to take a look at how you are prepared to protect yourself. If you are not prepared it is time that you get self-defense training or firearms training. As a Christian I ask you to put your faith in God, and as a life time NRA member it is time you learn to protect yourself by learning the proper and safe ways to handle a weapon.

Ted Cruz has long criticized career politicians in both parties for not listening to the American people; indeed, he started a Twitter hashtag #MakeDCListen on this very issue and has taken to the Senate floor on a number of occasions to urge DC to listen to the people who elected them. … Cruz once again took to the Senate floor to berate career politicians in both parties, particularly Republican leadership…

It is a showcase of tradition and culture from tribes across the state and country.

Skidi Leading Fox is this year’s Tulsa Powwow Princess, and she accepted the title while donning beautiful handmade regalia, each object with deep meaning to her culture.…
