Butterfly in the Studio — Originated at
the Irwin Farm, 1975 Jul 16, revised a little
1991 Nov 17. First world publication to mindfulwebworks.com
©2007 May 17. Some songs work
out better than others, and I can't say I'm especially fond of how this early
attempt turned out. I was trying for surreality in the lyrics and melody, and
ended up with something more saccharine than surreal. If they were in a rented
studio, they wouldn't hold up the show for a bug!
Truth-in-thievery: the
original psychedelic butterfly image (much altered & degraded here) was
taken from
Wet Circuit, (http://www.wetcircuit.com/2004/11/17/butterfly/) a
site I just discovered and recommend.
