Kamala’s sycophantic staff aren’t doing her any favors
Patriot Retort, Jun 7, 2021

This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when you put a politician with zero political savvy into the hands of sycophantic staff.

If There’s No Justice For Ashli Babbitt, There’s No Justice In America’s Future
Christopher J. Farrell, The National Pulse, Jun 7, 2021

Babbitt was shot by an unidentified law enforcement officer as she was crouched precariously in the framework of a broken interior window in the Capitol Building, located outside the Speaker’s Lobby off the House Floor. Babbitt was killed by the only shot fired that day and was the only documented fatality related directly to law enforcement activity. The identity of the officer who shot Babbitt remains a mystery.

Despite video evidence raising serious questions of excessive force, a Justice Department investigation determined there was insufficient evidence to bring charges against the officer who fired the fatal shot.…

Had Babbitt been shot down by police at a Black Lives Matter demonstration you can imagine the response from progressives and the media. Would the name of the police officer who shot Babbitt still be a mystery? Hardly!…

Another January 6 Falsehood: $30 Million in Damages to the Capitol
Julie Kelly, American Greatness, Jun 7, 2021

…In charging documents, federal prosecutors repeatedly claim protestors ransacked the Capitol Building to the tune of at least seven-figures.… No Oath Keeper has been charged with directly vandalizing the building, just “aiding and abetting” others who did. (Quite the prosecutorial stretch.) Nonetheless, each is accused of “forcibly enter[ing] the Capitol and thereby caus[ing] damage to the building in an amount more than $1,000.” That figure is important because it elevates the crime from a misdemeanor to a felony punishable by up to 10 years in jail.… But like so many other accepted truths related to the events in the capital on January 6, the “$30 million in damages” line is untrue.…

Doggone Dangerous

WANDERLUST
I would love an Airstream Sprinter, though. It's small enough to be easy to drive, but you can stay in it for a while if necessary. Mostly it's comfortable to sit in the back with the dog while my husband drives.
I've got a few years of second-hand experience with the Sprinters in commercial service. Largest competitor ran a fleet of Blue-Tec diesel Sprinters for passenger haulage. I'm friends with the Manager at the service shop that tended to their fleet. Said they were some of the most expensive to maintain vans he'd ever wrenched. Parts, being "Mercedes" were priced accordingly, and backordered from hell.

Conversely, my boss keeps us in Ford Transits with the 3.5 Twin Turbo Eco-Boost. Pretty damn bulletproof in every regard. Body, engine, transmission, interior. Brakes is about the biggest fix yet, into the mid 100k mile range.

Get the conversion, but get it on a Transit. You'll spend far less, and come out far ahead.
