Transport Future

Flying car

…Self-driving cars are essentially a train with expanded range, each vehicle being its own railcar. In the planners' minds their flow-optimized system works neatly and safely at speeds and densities not achievable by human reflexes and with a minimal loss of autonomy. They refuse to acknowledge Murphy's Law though, which when dealing with the speed and densities expected means guaranteed disaster.

Governing Ourselves

No man is moral in his own right. We are made of crooked timber. The system the founders sought was not one intended to elect the right people to do whatever they thought best, but rather one to prevent and restrain any man from doing what his nature would naturally bid him to do. The Constitution isn't a writ of authority, it is a restraining order. And we have watched the elites for generations trying to shed the shackles that the Constitution had rightly placed upon them. And the overbearing government we now possess is precisely the result we should expect now that they have largely shed those constraints and are acting exactly as the founders feared.
